release of the upgraded 3.3v/5v PCI-RAS Multimodem card with
V.92 connectivity and Super G3 faxing. This next generation in modem
based technology will provide better performance for business customers,

The V.92 modem technology provides extensive cost saving features
over solutions using V.90 modems, including 50% faster connect time
and reduced data upload times.
In addition, the Perle PCI-RAS V.92 Multimodem cards now utilize Super
G3 V.34 fax speeds of 33.6K bps -- more than double the speed of V.17/14.4K
bps fax. Now, computer-based fax servers with integrated PCI-RAS Multimodem
cards can achieve the speeds normally only found in dedicated fax machines.
